Saturday was the sort of day sports fans dream about. First, you had huge conference title NCAA football match-ups, as well as some noteworthy college hoops action. Next up, the MLS cup was decided from Kansas City. And finally, the NBA hardwood was busy as usual in an all-around full day of shoes in sports.

On the college gridiron, some of the nation's top teams battled to determine the conference champions. No. 1 Florida State rattled No. 20 Duke 45-7 to remain undefeated and capture the ACC title on the back of an incredible night from Jameis Winston (pictured.) From Indianapolis, No. 10 Michigan State dealt No. 2 Ohio State their first loss of the season to take the Big Ten. One week after their incredible win over Alabama, No. 3 Auburn kept it rolling with a 59-42 win over No. 5 Missouri in the SEC. For the Pac-12 title, No. 7 Stanford outlasted No. 11 Arizona State 38-14.

After a 1-1 score through regulation and overtime, the MLS Cup game between Sporting KC and Real Salt Lake was decided with an unforgettable series of penalty kicks. In fact, it was the longest shootout in championship history. Finally, Sporting KC defender Aurelien Collin scored to give Sporting KC a 7-6 win.

In NCAA hoops, No. 6 Kansas lost another big one to Colorado despite a strong night from Andrew Wiggins. Meanwhile, on the pro hardwood, Stephen Curry and Dirk Nowitzki dominated as they lead their respective teams to victory.
