There’s just no stopping the Orange. After clinching last night’s 91-89 thriller against No. 17 Duke, Syracuse has improved to 8-0 in the ACC and 21-0 overall. For the Orange, it was truly a team effort, with four players in double figures and both C.J. Fair and Jerami Grant hitting 20+. Grant, nephew of former NBA forward Horace Grant, was especially impressive with 24 points and 12 rebounds in the Air Jordan XI “Concord.”

Around the NCAA, the No. 25 Texas Longhorns dealt a 81-69 upset to No. 6 Kansas. No. 16 Iowa State was able to hold off No. 26 Oklahoma for a 81-75 win. In Texas, Southern Methodist surprised No. 22 Memphis, winning 87-72.

On the pro courts, LeBron James was up to his usual tricks, dumping 30 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 6 steals on the feisty New York Knicks. Houston’s Jeremy Lin racked up a triple-double in the Rockets win over Cleveland with 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists, and Dwight Howard chipped in another 26 points.

Catch all this and more hoops highlights after the break, and be sure to check back with Sneaker Report tomorrow morning for a full recap of the best cleats of the Super Bowl.
