One of the biggest stories in basketball sneakers this season has been LeBron James' reluctance to wear his latest signature model, the Nike LeBron XI. At the end of the day, though, LeBron's still repping the Swoosh, and helping to draw attention to his takedown model, the Zoom Soldier VII.

Tonight, Toronto's Kyle Lowry made a surprising sneaker decision when he wore the Jordan Retro 10 "Cool Grey" instead of his usual Peak signature model. Thus far, there haven't been any rumors about Lowry leaving Peak for Jordan Brand, and he's still listed on Peak Sports USA's website as a team member, but this is certainly an interesting move from the man who many are calling one of the biggest All-Star roster snubs. In the Jordan Xs, Lowry came close to yet another triple-double with 19 points, 12 assists, and 7 rebounds in the Raptors' win over New Orleans.

In men's ACC action, the No. 17 Virginia Cavaliers continued improved to 11-1 in their conference with a win over Maryland, while Kansas State dealt No. 7 Kansas a 85-82 upset in overtime.

All this plus more NBA and women's college hoops featuring No. 3 Duke taking on No. 17 North Carolina after the break.
