Yesterday was business as usual for No. 2 Wichita Sate. The Shockers completed their terrific 31-0 season with an easy win over Missouri State, becoming the first NCAA men’s team since Saint Joseph’s in 2004 to finish with a perfect season.

For almost everyone else, yesterday’s match-ups were underdog affairs, with several of the nation’s top teams going down. For starters, No. 9 Creighton skidded in a Big East lost to Xavier. The No. 10 Saint Louis Billikens were surprised by VCU, falling 56-67. From Memphis, the No. 21 Tigers managed a W over No. 7 Louisville. In Charlottesville, No. 12 Virginia picked up their first ACC title in 33 years with a shocking win over No. 4 Syracuse. And of course, the Oklahoma State Cowboys dropped No. 5 Kansas 72-65, which was followed by a a stampede of fans pouring onto the court (pictured.)

On the pro hardwood, LeBron James debuted a new clear mask in order to comply with the NBA’s ruling, dropping 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists along the way. For more NBA coverage featuring Chris Paul, Zach Randolph, and more, check out the gallery above.
