The Shoes That Won Last Night: Melo Gives Knicks a Reason to Celebrate

For the New York Knicks, the 2013-14 season has been a struggle to say the least. After finishing last year at .659, their best win percentage in over a decade, it seems like it's been one disappointment after another and they're currently third in the Atlantic at a dire .394. Most recently, there's been serious buzz about them bringing in Phil Jackson, but it remains to be seen if that will have any immediate impact on the team. Last night, they hit the road and came away with a rare W against the Boston Celtics. Carmelo Anthony led the way in his Jordan signature model with 34 points, which also put him on top of the night's scoring leaders.

Throughout the league, Sacramento relied heavily on Rudy Gay and Isaiah Thomas as they handed Philadelphia yet another defeat, which brings the Sixers to 18 straight losses. And in Toronto, big man Amir Johnson put in work in the paint in a pair of Drake-approved Air Jordans.

On the NCAA front, conference tournaments kicked off across the country. For a brief rundown of some of yesterday's best kicks on the college courts, hit the gallery above.
