The Shoes That Won Last Night: Kevin Durant Balls Out in the KD VI

Monday night belonged to the King, but last night's hardwood action proved to be much different. Instead, it was the oft-compared Kevin Durant (pictured) who stole the show with 42 points and 9 rebounds as the Thunder rallied to an easy 125-92 thrashing of the Philadelphia 76ers. And believe it or not, that wasn't the only major stat coming out of Oklahoma City.

Russell Westbrook completed the 8th triple-double of his career with 13 points, 14 assists, and 10 rebounds, and he got in done in less than three quarters of action. With 4:55 to go in the third period, Westbrook pulled down his tenth rebound of the night, sealing the second-fastest triple-double in NBA history. You'll have to check the gallery above for a look at his kicks.

For LeBron, he just wasn't able to ride the momentum from Monday's career-high 61 points as the Houston Rockets downed the Heat 106-103. Both Dwight Howard and James Harden had outstanding showings in Houston's home win.

Catch up on all this plus NCAA men's coverage, featuring No. 1 Florida in an SEC match-up and No. 12 Michigan in Big Ten competition.
