Today is all about the NBA Playoffs, but yesterday there was plenty of work being done on the diamond. In Miami, right fielder Giancarlo Stanton sealed the game with a huge walk-off grand slam, bringing his RBI total to 5 on the night as the Marlins defeated Seattle 8-4. Meanwhile, the Braves put a 6-0 hurting on the New York Mets to advance to 11-5, tying with the Oakland Athletics for the second best record in the league.

On the mound, Martin Perez of Texas threw shutouts for the Rangers, while San Diego's Tyson Ross was able to keep the Giants off the scoreboard. Perez was especially impressive as he pitched all nine innings and struck out 8 batters, allowing just three hits.
