One, two, 500. With two homers in Tuesday’s 7-2 win over Washington, Albert Pujols became the 26th player to reach 500 career home runs. Even more, he is the first to hit home runs 499 and 500 in the same game. After a shaky start this season, Pujols has been on a tear, blasting each of his eight HRs in the last 13 games. With Pujols likely nearing the tail end of his prolific career, it’s a great feeling to see him add this milestone to his resume. Find out which cleats he wore after the break.

But in Chicago, the Washington Wizards were able to pull out another shocker, coming away with a 101-99 OT win and taking a 2-0 series advantage.
