Don’t count ‘em out yet. With their backs against the wall, the Houston Rockets were able to secure 121-116 overtime win to narrow Portland’s series advantage to 2-1. The second OT finish of the series proved to be the most exciting yet, coming down to the wire as rookie Troy Daniels nailed a last-minute three to extend the Houston lead. Leading the way for the Rockets was James Harden, who dropped a career playoff high 37 points and snagged 9 boards. Down low, Dwight Howard dominated with 24 points and 14 rebounds, while Portland’s LaMarcus Aldridge was held to under 40 points for the first time in the series with just 23.
Houston wasn’t the only team to begin a first round comeback, as the Chicago Bulls crept by Washington in a 100-97 win to push the series to 2-1. Mike Dunleavy torched the Wizards with 35 points on 12-19 shooting, 8 of which were three pointers. Catch a glimpse of his shoes in the gallery above.
From the Barclays Center, the Nets managed to continue their surprising run with a 102-98 win over Toronto, extending their lead to 2-1. Joe Johnson, Deron Williams, and Paul Pierce all came up big for Brooklyn, and you’ll find all of their kicks after the jump.
