While the majority of sports fans were tuned into the 2014 NFL Draft, there was some serious action going down on the NBA hardwood.

The Miami Heat took a 2-0 series lead over Brooklyn with last night's 94-82 home win. Although LeBron (pictured) and D Wade struggled from the field, the Heat were able to bounce back from a first quarter deficit and control the pace of the remaining 36 minutes. Chris Bosh helped to picked up the slack, shooting 7-for-13 for 18 points and grabbing 9 boards and 3 blocks along the way. Game 3 takes place Saturday night, and the Nets will have to make some major adjustments if they want to slow down Miami, who are in the middle of a franchise record playoff win streak.

From San Antonio, the Spurs were also able to take a 2-0 advantage as they blew out Portland 114-97. After a string of closely contested games, Portland just couldn't manage to bounce back after being outscored 41-25 in the second quarter. Just before the game, there were reports that the Blazers found a snake in their locker room. On the court, it was Kawhi Leonard who struck fear into the Portland defense, shooting 4-for-4 from the 3-point arc and setting the tone by scoring 12 of his 20 points in the first quarter.
