Just days ago, the Internet was set abuzz with jokes and memes targeting Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert. The lumbering big man took ridicule from every corner, including his team's official website. Today, these critics will be singing a different tune, as Hibbert stepped up big for the Pacers in last night's 86-82 home win over the Washington Wizards. Hibbert dominated down low with 28 points on 10-for-13 shooting and 9 rebounds, helping Indiana even things up in the Eastern Conference Semifinals at one win apiece. As usual, George Hill (pictured), Lance Stephenson, and Paul George were also factors in the Indiana W, so be sure to hit the jump to see which kicks they wore in Game 2.
Across the coast, the Oklahoma City Thunder got even with the Los Angeles Clippers after capturing a 112-101 home win. Russell Westbrook must've felt this was a must-win situation, because he let loose with a 31 point, 10 rebound, 10 assist triple-double en route to OKC's win. MVP Kevin Durant was equally efficient, dropping 32 points, 12 boards, and 9 assists on and LAC team that just couldn't keep up when it mattered most. With his much-deserved MVP win and the national attention surrounding his heartfelt acceptance speech, the announcement that he'll be the lone cover star of NBA2K15, and performances like this, it's safe to say KD is having the best week ever. Find out if his luck will continue during Game 3 on Friday at 10:30.
