Don't call it a comeback, they've been here for years. Last night, the San Antonio Spurs finished off what became a one-sided NBA Finals against the Miami Heat to procure their fifth NBA Championship. After last year's Game 7 defeat, Tim Duncan and his defiant Spurs put an end to the Heat's dreams of a three-peat with a 104-87 Game 5 win. 22-year-old Kawhi Leonard was honored as the Finals MVP, becoming the third youngest player to win the Bull Russell Award and the youngest since Duncan won his first NBA title 15 years ago. After the game, a visibly emotional Duncan acknowledged that his career is winding down, which will cap off one of the most impressive runs of all time. Find out which sneakers won the Finals as we close out NBA Shoes That Won Last Night coverage after the break.
On the pitch from Brazil, Lionel Messi scored a beautiful goal, marking his second career World Cup score as Argentina dropped Bosnia-Herzegovina 2-1. You'll find Messi's cleats and other highlights from yesterday's action in the gallery above.
