Still #1. Yesterday, Germany failed to put away Ghana in a 2-2 draw, but they're still on top of Group G with 4 points. Late in the game, Ghana looked to be in control with a 2-1 lead, but veteran Miroslav Klose scored at 71' to save the day. Klose's goal marked the 15th World Cup score of his career, tying with Brazil legend Ronaldo for most of all time. Group G action continues tomorrow as the US take on Portugal, and if they win, they'll advance through group play.

Lionel Messi continued to impress, leading Argentina to a 1-0 win over Iran, while Nigeria picked up a 1-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina. Both teams will advance to the second stage, which kicks off next week.
