While NBA fans eagerly await LeBron James' latest decision, the MLB is pushing full speed ahead to the All-Star break on Tuesday. With the final rosters announced, several All-Stars were in action last night, but the Pittsburgh Pirates were led by two players who didn't make the cut. Down 0-3 in their series with St. Louis, the Pirates dominated with a 9-1 win to avoid a sweep thanks to a strong night on the mound from Edinson Volquez and some strong hitting from Russell Martin (pictured). NL All-Star starter Andrew McCutchen also drove in two runs for the Pirates, who sit 3.5 games behind in the Central Division.

Around the league, Oakland's Scott Kazmir allowed 0 runs in 7 innings on the mound as the first place A's cruised to a 6-1 win over San Fransisco. The Angels held onto 2nd place in the AL West with a 15-6 win over Texas thanks to a huge night from Mike Trout. Catch up on all the night's best players and cleats after the break.
