The MLB All-Star game is a week away, but in the meantime, there’s no shortage of action on the diamond. Last night, the Orioles dropped the Washington Nationals 8-2 to extend their win streak to three and hang on to the top spot in the AL East. Baltimore third baseman Manny Machado had a huge night, including a career-high five hits and a home run, while Nelson Cruz (pictured above) smashed his 28th homer of the season, breaking a bat along the way. With this win, the O’s have now won 7 of their last 8 and have a firm grip on the top spot in their division.

Last night also featured shutouts, PE Jordan Retro cleats, and more, so get ready for the All-Star break with a look back at the best metal of the night.
