Peyton Manning

Is anyone going to be able to stop Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos? Last night, they picked up a 31-21 win over Oakland to advance to 3-0. The entire team’s been as efficient as ever this season, but Peyton Manning’s been truly impressive. He went 32/37 for 374 yards and three touchdowns in Monday’s win while wearing his go-to Reebok cleats.

On the diamond, the Texas Rangers shutout the Houston Astros 12-0 on the back of Derek Holland’s 9 innings pitched. Miami and Milwaukee also picked up shutout wins over Philadelphia and Atlanta, respectively.

In WNBA action, the Atlanta Dream advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals after a 80-72 win over Washington.

In the Spanish Premera Division, Espanyol defeated Athletic Bilbao thanks in part to two goals from Victor Sanchez.
