College basketball was in full force as on the Men's side the New Mexico Lobos managed to win in double overtime 97-94 over the UAB Blazers. In Women's Basketball, the North Carolina Tar Heels destroyed the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers 106-52 behind some great basketball leadership and performances from Stephanie Mavunga and Diamond DeShields.

It was Thursday Night Football and a nice division rivalry between the Falcons and Saints was featured. The Falcons have experienced a disappointing season, but they'll always try to put on their best performance against a division rival. The game was close, but the Saints managed to win 17-13 behind 2 passing touchdowns from quarterback Drew Brees pushing their record to a solid 9-2. Here are the Shoes That Won Last Night.

There is nothing better than a good rushing game. It's hard these days in all walks of football since running is used a lot less and a ground and pound game seems more unconventional by the minute. The UCF Knights took a chance with their run game as Storm Johnson had a great night last night for his team. The UCF running back had 75 rushing yards and 2 rushing touchdowns as his team was able to pull off a strong 41-17 victory over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

A quarterback is only as good as his receiving options and vice versa. Drew Brees might be great, but he has some pretty great weapons at his disposal. That includes tight end Jimmy Graham who has been making amazing catch after amazing catch over the years. Graham was his good old athletic and explosive self last night as he had 100 receiving yards and 1 receiving touchdown in the Saints' 17-13 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Graham's touchdown came in the middle of the second quarter and was vital as it gave the Saints a 14-10 lead in a defensive-minded matchup.
