Last night featured a diverse and dynamic sports schedule. The Thursday Night Football matchup between the Chiefs and Eagles entertained, the WNBA playoffs got underway, and the MLB playoff picture started to take shape. Kansas City was able to defeat the Eagles and get off to a 3-0 start this season. The WNBA playoffs first round started with the Mercury defeating the Sparks behind 30 points from Diana Taurasi and the Washington Mystics downing the Atlanta Dream. In baseball, The Dodgers clinched the NL West Division title, and the AL Wild Card race continues to heat up with 3.5 games separating six teams.
