When Sneaker Report received the full kit of NFL Combine gear from Under Armour on this fine Friday, we couldn’t resist the urge to try it out ourselves. The collection includes the Men’s NFL Combine Authentic Fitted Sleeveless Shirt, Shorts, Coreshorts, On-field Compression Short Sleeve, ColdGear Infrared 1/4 Zip, ColdGear Infrared Warm-Up Jacket and Nitro to ensure athletes are fast, comfortable, and ready to give it all they’ve got in hopes of impressing NFL scouts.

Since winter in New York is in full effect right now, completely these drills outdoors is impossible so we brought the game inside to our very own Complex headquarters. We narrowed down our “Sneaker Report Combine” to just three drills instead of the normal six and let it rip (much to the confusion of our co-workers). Equipped with the official Under Armour kit of the 2014 NFL Combine, we put intern-at-large Danny Mitchell to the test at the Shuttle Run, Vertical Jump, and infamous 40-yard dash.

Danny Mitchell is a freelance writer from New York and contributor to Sneaker Report with a obsession for the Knicks, sneakers and all things 90’s. He can be found on twitter @dmitch_23.
