Bryce Opening Day

SPOTTED: Bryce Harper Goes Deep Twice on Opening Day in the UA Spine Highlight ST

Winning last year’s NL Rookie of the Year honors apparently wasn’t enough Bryce Harper, the Washington Nationals’ left fielder. This year, it looks like he’s gunning for the coveted MVP award. And if he keeps playing like he did in Monday’s Opening Day game against the visiting Florida Marlins, you might as well hand him the trophy now.

Rocking a pair of Under Armour Spine Highlight ST baseball cleats, the 20-year-old phenom hit back-to-back home runs in his first two at-bats, producing Washington’s only two runs of the game.

Not only is the former overall No. 1 draft pick the face of the young Nationals’ squad, Harper has become the face of Under Armour baseball over the past couple of years. So far, UA has taken good care of its major league stud—more recently by putting him in a pair of the Spine technology-infused baseball cleats that feature a unique high-top construction for ankle support.

More to come from both Harper and Under Armour as the 2013 MLB season continues.
