SPOTTED: Kawhi Leonard Sparks Spurs in the Nike Air Force Max 2013

It took them six years, but the San Antonio Spurs are back in the NBA Finals once again. After last night’s 93-86 win, they have swept the Memphis Grizzlies and will face the winner of the Indiana-Miami Eastern Conference Finals. Tony Parker handled the majority of the offense for the Spurs with 37 points and a stellar 71% shooting percentage. San Antonio small forward Kawhi Leonard didn’t tally quite as many points, but his performance was valuable nonetheless. Leonard covered all areas of the floor tonight, proving to be a nuisance for Memphis on offense and defense (check the look on Zach Randolph’s face). On 5-7 shooting, Leonard had 11 points and also grabbed 6 rebounds and 5 steals.

Leonard opted for the Nike Air Force Max 2013, a retro style that has been slightly tweaked for modern performance. The most obvious change from the original Air Force Max is that the upper’s construction is now nearly seamless, resulting in a lighter model. With its Air Max cushioning and midfoot support strap, the Nike Air Force Max offers suitable cushioning for all positions at $140.
