Nate Robinson in the Air Jordan 13 "Playoffs"

SPOTTED: Nate Robinson Has Season-High 35 Points in the Air Jordan XIII "Playoffs"

Despite the absence of superstar Derrick Rose, the Chicago Bulls are headed to the NBA Playoffs. They'll be facing the Brooklyn Nets in the first round, but tonight they squared off against another East Coast faovirte in the New York Knicks. In what could be considered an upset, the Bulls knocked off NY in overtime with a final score of 118-111. Nate Robinson stepped up big (we couldn't help ourselves) and dropped a season-high 35 points. He also had three rebounds, two assists, and a block, putting up numbers more in line with a forward or even center than a point guard.

For the biggest game of Nate's season, he wore the Air Jordan XIII. Featured yesterday in a Performance Sneaker History highlighting Jordan himself, the AJXIII was originally released in 1997 and was cutting edge from both a performance and aesthetic standpoint. With Zoom Air cushioning, a leather (or leather/mesh combo on certain colorways) upper, and a pod-based outsole, the Air Jordan XIII is still a suitable court option over fifteen years since its conception.
