Rafael Nadal has a lot of work to do before he gets back to being the same dominating tennis player that we’ve grown accustomed to over the last decade or so, but he’s certainly off to the right start after winning his first singles match in over seven months (dating back to Wimbledon 2012).
Following months of rehab on his injured knee, Rafa took the court against Argentina’s Frederico Delbonis at the VTR Open in Chile yesterday. After shaking off some rust early in the match, the Spaniard went on to win quite easily in straight sets (6-3, 6-2).
Playing on his favorite surface, clay, Nadal laced up in a pair of personalized Nike Air Max Courtballistec 4.3 sneakers. Designed to perform consistently across virtually all surface types, the Courtballistec 4.3s worn by the former World No. 1 ranked held up well on the orange stuff, as Nadal slid into his ground strokes with ease.
You can grab a pair of the Nike Air Max Courtballistec 4.3 for $130.
