The NFL is upon us. Although we are about two weeks away, it’s good to see players and teams getting back into the swing of things. Last night the Pittsburg Steelers took on the Washington Redskins. The Redskins managed to pull off a win but it was a very sloppy game to say the least. Robert Griffin IIIs is still out and his second string QB Kirk Cousins left the game on an injured foot. Rex Grossman, Redskins 3rd string QB, came into the game late but was able to close out it out with a TD leading the team to a 24-13 victory over the Steelers. Roethlisberger finished the game 5 of 6 passing for 66 yards, 1 interception and 1 carry for 2 yards.

This game gave us a quick insight to what the players will be wearing on their feet this season. Ben is still rocking the cleats he wore last year; the Nike Lunar Superbad Pro D. This was the cleat of choice for many players last night as well. The Nike Lunar Superbad Pro D cleat has a dual-density midsole and Lunarlon foam gives you the cushioned desired which is great for that drop-back pass or when you are cutting up the field. Stay tuned to Sneaker Report as this brand new season begins and we get a look at what your favorite NFL player is wearing while creating havoc on the gridiron.
