The U.S. Open is a week away. Athletes and their respective brands have been gearing up for the this big tournament. adidas gave their tennis athletes, Jack Sock, Rhyne Williams and Bjorn Fratangelo the opportunity to design their own adizero Feather II and Barricade 8 miadidas footwear. Both Sock and Willaims will wear the adizero Feather II and Fratangelo will be wearing the Barricade 8.

Jack Sock won the boys' junior US Open championship in 2010, was a four-time state champion with an 80-0 record in his high school career and won the 2011 US Open mixed doubles title. Sock is currently ranked in the top 100 on the men’s ATP tour. He designed both the 'Showtime' and the 'J Sizzle" to represent th e welcomed pressure and spotlight that playing on the “big stage” brings and his Husker pride and the shoe features his nickname respectively.

Rhyne Williams received All-America honors in 2010 and 2011 at the University of Tennessee, earned the No.1 national singles ranking in 2011 and reached the NCAA Singles Championships in 2011. Williams has claimed five professional titles and currently ranks 116 on the ATP tour. He designed both the 'VFL' and the "Merica" to represent his Tennessee Volunteer pride and his fellow US players respectively.

Bjorn Fratangelo is the second American since John McEnroe in 1977 to win the junior French Open title in 2011. He captured his first professional title in 2013 and is currently ranked 370 in the world. Frantangelo designed the black/yellow pair and the red/white/blue pair to represent where he was born and raised and a little nod to NY respectively.

Each sneaker represents these tennis stars, where they come from as well as nod to the sport and their fellow players. Starting today and through Aug. 24, fans will have a chance to choose which pair each athlete will wear on court. Follow @adidastennis and #miadidasNYC on Twitter to participate!  Create your own Feather II now and Barricade 8 next month at the adidas customs page.
