Now that the Brazuca has been officially announced, Soccer Bible went to the heart of the adidas testing labs to see how the most tested ball ever made passed the test.
For two and half years, adidas developed and refined the Brazuca with the help of 600 players in 30 different teams across 10 countries. According to SB, adidas exceeded the FIFA approved standards for the ball when it came to water absorption (10% vs 0.2%), rebound (0% pressure loss after 3500 cycles) and weight.
