puma v1.10 SL white royal The 25 Best Soccer Cleats of All Time

No. 9 – Puma V1.10 SL

Weight: 5.3oz
Released: 2010
Highlight: As per the title, Super Lightweight. The lightest boot to hit the market.

Puma hold the lightweight record thanks to their V1.10 SL release from 2010. What makes this release so unusual is that the V1.10 features a box toe, while the SL version had a more rounded design. As a result, they provided a completely different level of performance and paved the way for Puma to change the design of the V1.12. What made these so light? Puma used an ultra thin premium microfiber upper and one piece of pebax with a carbon fiber inset to minimize weight and increase stability. Personally, one of my favorite boots ever released!

u missed the adidas predator manias

  • dub

this is a cool as list. nice work!

  • dub

no. 11, the Vapors, those last for about a month before they blow out. i’m sure it’s different for the custom ones that the pros wear, but not for plumber Joe paying $1-200 for them

  • Riley

A decent list but the Vapor 8 should be higher. And having worn the LZs, I’m not sure they should be in the top 10. The zones seemed gimmicky to me

  • Huff eja

This should have been number 1

  • Jason Chua

Can’t quite believe there wasn’t space for the Mizuno Morelias (Japan Versions) one of the best leather boots around comparable with the Copas.

  • Chris

The vapor IV should definitely be on this list somewhere. Best pair of boots I’ve ever worn

  • Paul

Even though I have always been an adidas guy(nike never fit my feet well), the NIke Vapor III was, and still is my favorite boot. It looks better than any other boot, it was light and the stud pattern was incredible for its time. NIke also had it on the market for a long time, releasing so many colours – Thierry Henry wore the white/gold, C. Ronaldo the Red/White, Drogba the blue/white, Ronaldo the yellow/green. Forget the technology – these boots were sleek, light and had classy swag

  • Sung

Is the new F50 and the new CTR 360 not good enough compared to the older versions?
I’m considering getting the two pairs but it seems that the only new one available in this list was the Preds.

  • Ccjshs

I disagree with the first choice. I believe it is a great cleat but it definitely isn’t the best around.

i think there are many boots missed out… i know everyone has different taste and its hard to compress to top 25 but dont really agree with top10 you have there.. but generally all the boots you’ve chosen are great! :)

  • burgie

I have always worn puma king. In HS days I could get 3+ years out of them playing hard on them 4 to 5x a week. These “new and improved” kings lasted less then one season of medium intensity play. They are not as good as the older Kings and should not be in this list. Put the Puma King Classic up instead.

  • Prudhvi Kodali

the predator is like the best around

  • DVal3

If an UnderArmour boot is on here…. you know the list aint legit

  • Abhi

adipures are amazing also the tiempos those should top 5 with the copas, f50 adizero, mercurial vapors, and adipower predators.

    In order

    1. tiempos
    2.adipures
    3.copas mundial
    4.mercurial vapors
    5.f50 adizero

  • Abhi

actually take out f50s and put the adipower predators as nunber 5

  • Abhi

tiempos and adipures have very soft leather(kangaroo leather)

  • Bad Soccer Player

Im like the worse soccer player but then I saw that Nikes store had something that caught my eye and it was the CTR360. I thought that I would be nice to have a black one and play soccer with my friends and I notice that this was the 2nd highest so I was surprised

Where’s the t90 laser iv elite

  • Mike

The latest Predator LZ is best. I’ve tried them all. It fits like a glove light and powerful.

Cheap Adidas Football Boots – adidas Messi F50 adizero – Firm Ground – Soccer Cleats – Purple/Red

This is the boot that (arguably) the
world’s best player has worn for the last five games, donning them for
club and country alike while scoring six goals in the process.

Messi’s logo, the same one that adorned
the front of the aluminum case, features prominently on the tongue
while a thin, red stroke that breaks for the word “MESSI” accents the
    outside heal.

The sprintframe outsole feels rigid and
connected while maintaining its incredible light weight. The boot is
flexible in your hands but once you get it on your feet and start
moving around, you notice the connectedness to the ground as well as
    the strength of it.

The updated adidas Messi F50 adizero
features a new textured and synthetic Sprintskin upper designed to work
exceptionally in all weather conditions. This material wicks away water
and the elevated ridge patterning lets water slide off the cleat
rather than be absorbed, keeping the foot dry and the cleat light even
    in heavy rain.

Knock the slow out of your game with
the adidas Messi F50 adizero football boots. If you are a player that
wants the fastest cleat on the market, look no farther than these
adidas Messi F50 adizero football shoes. http://www.onlinemall2014.co.uk/adidas-football-boots/adidas-messi-f50.html

In 1st place should be the Adidas F50 Adizero prime, not the Preds.

The fact that the predator mania isn’t on this list takes away all credibility from it.
