Not Available Lead

The Yankees have been on a tear and are looking to clinch the AL wildcard spot, firing from all cylinders. Last night, the Boston Red Sox was up to bat as they took on the New York Yankees in the Bronx.

The game was a brawl all the way through, as both teams were fighting for the lead. At the end of the 5th inning however, Boston 6-2 and it looked like the Yankees was going to give up on the game. But it wasn’t until 7th inning where the Yanks fought back and took the lead going up 7-8. Just when you thought the game was over again, Boston tied the game and sent it to extra innings thanks to Stephen Drew. Drew hit the game tying single off the all-times saves leader in Mariano Rivera. Then Shane Victorino grabbed the go ahead single launching the Red Sox past the Yankees 9-8.

Shane Victorino pulled this game together with great at-bats. He had two hits, one homerun and 3RBIs taking the game from the Yankees. Victorino wore the Nike Huarache Pro Metal in last night’s game. The Huarache Pro Metal combines synthetic leather and mesh with an ankle strap for a from fit and great ankle support.

The Red Sox and the Yankees meet again tonight. Let’s see if the Yanks can prevent another loss. Keep it locked on Sneaker Report for more from the MLB.
