Since it lost Dwyane Wade as a brand ambassador, Converse has mainly focused on its lifestyle footwear. However, the brand isn't ready to give up on its basketball roots just yet.

Unveiled for the first time a few weeks ago, the Converse MVP MId is a monster of a basketball shoe. It is the first Converse shoe to be treated with Nike Flywire technology to give it some toughness and support. The high density foam construction, along with a rubber outsole give the sneakers a rugged look with enhanced stability. The MVP Mids aren't the lightest basketball shoes around, but if you're in the market for a shoe that can outlast your jumper, these make a good option.

Though, it's worth noting that the sneakers are only available in Asia for now. Stay tuned for detailes on a US release.
