Louis Delmas

It was a long game for the Patriots as they were dismantled by the Lions during this preseason affair. The Patriots had four turnovers in the first half and outmatched by the Lions 40 to 9. The Lions came out of the gate showing the league that they can play defense. "That's a Hall of Fame quarterback, and we flustered him a little bit," Detroit wide receiver Nate Burleson said about Tom Brady. Brady threw his first interception of the preseason in this game and didn’t recover since. Louis Delmas had a great game on defense recovering a fumble that ignited the team’s defense. "The defense set a standard today. We can be one of the better defenses (in the league) if we keep working," said Delmas.

Delmas stunned the New England Patriots in the Nike Super Speed TD. The cleat features a zero space anatomical liner for custom fit, protective toe bumper and vented ankle window for breathability; making this cleat the ideal shoe for the gridiron. Swift and Speedy, the cleat lifted Delmas to his A-game. He has recovered nicely since an injury that prevented him from playing much this preseason.

It will be good for the Lions to keep this defensive intensity as we are days away from the first game of the season. Stay tuned to Sneaker Report for more from the NFL.
