Originally released in ’94 the Nike Air Veer Trainer was one of the great trainers. Introducing the wide velcro strap, the Veer provided excellent lockdown and support. With the strap, you were able to customize the fit that was more comfortable to the wearer. With the combination leather upper the sneaker was very durable and comfortable. Also, the veer contained a visible Air-Sole unit for light weight cushioning on the heel. Recently, sneakers have been incorporation the mid-foot Velcro on their shoe. One shoe in particular is the Nike Huarache Turf Lacrosse shoe, which resembles the Veer in shape.

Today Nike gives an original model with a new look. Introducing the new dark grey/volt colorway, the Veer never received this new makeup in the past. Pairing this first time retro with such a clean colorway, It shows the Nike Sportswear has a lot of great potential to come for this magnificent trainer.
