Kobe's love for soccer has been well documented as he had a cameo in Nike's "Winning Stays" commercial, and is currently watching the World Cup in person this summer down in Brazil. It's no surprise Nike rolled out a World Cup inspired colorway of the Kobe 9, and now you can grab yourself a pair.
The Nike Kobe 9 EM "Brazil" features an engineered mesh upper that keeps this low cut option lightweight but supportive if you decide to lace them up for some ball. To give a more adaptive, natural fit, Nike added in Flywire cables to cradle the foot and paired it with Lunarlon foam cushioning through the midsole for a responsive feel. Nike hooked up this "Brazil" inspired colorway with a pop art feel, adding in multiple prints throughout the shoe in a combination of blue, yellow and green, reminiscent of the host country traditional colors.
