The release of the high-topped Kobe 9 Elite broke the streak of five consecutive low-top Kobe Bryant releases from Nike. This weekend however, Black Mamba's line will return to a low-top look with the Nike Kobe 9 EM. The low-top shoe features a lightweight "University Gold" mesh upper which sits atop a Lunarlon midsole. Missing from the Nike Kobe 9 EM, however, is any trace of Flyknit technology, which was the Kobe 9 Elite's signature trademark.
The Kobe 9 Elite EMs come out this Saturday in stores and at Nike.com.
