A year after the Jawbone Up was pulled off the market, the once-popular fitness bracelet is back—and apparently this time it’s here to stay.

Jawbone has just released a new version of its Up bracelet to compete with the Nike FuelBand. According to the brand the Jawbone Up is a “wristband and app system that helps you discover things about yourself that you never knew.”

In other words, similar to the Nike FuelBand, the Jawbone Up has the ability to track movements and count steps to estimate calories burned. Unlike the FuelBand, though, Jawbone’s version also uses motion sensors to keep track of the amount of time the user sleeps, and even differentiates between deep versus light sleep.

While it’s only currently available in black, soon the Jawbone Up will be available in seven additional colors. Get yours for $130.

Not quite sold on the idea? Then stay tuned for a Sneaker Report performance review on the Jawbone Up. We'll be sure to give you the good, the bad, and the ugly.
