There's a hyphenated word out there that will put a smile on any avid outdoorsman's face: GORE-TEX.

Made to withstand the harshest weather conditions on the planet, GORE-TEX technology has been incorporated with countless running sneakers over the years to give them protection from the elements. The latest sneaker to join the GORE-TEX club is the Saucony Guid 6 (as part of the GTX Series). A shoe that already had a reputation for tearing up the road is now capable of treading through rain, hail, sleet, or snow while your feet don't even break a sweat. Along with the waterproof GORE-TEX, the Guide 6 GTX features HydraMAX lining on the collar for wicking away additional moisture.

The shoe's Dual Density EVA midsole provides lightweight cushioning and shock absorption, resulting in an overall smooth ride. As expected with a GORE-TEX shoe, the Guide 6 GTX highly responsive carbon rubber outsole that will keep your feet level, even on rough terrain.

Available now for $120.
