The Sneakers Worn for the 15 Best Performances in Kentucky Basketball History

Previous / Next 1 of 16

If you wanted to show someone who’d never been exposed to college basketball, and you wanted to show them all the great things that revolve around the game, you’d introduce them to the Kentucky Wildcats. Not only is UK the all-time winningest program in NCAA history but they boast one of the strongest fanbases on either side of the Mississippi as well. From legendary head coaches like Adolph Rupp, Joe Hall, Rick Pitino, Tubby Smith and John Calipari, to breakthrough basketball players like Kenny “Sky” Walker, Jamal Mashburn, Tayshaun Prince, John Wall and Anthony Davis, Kentucky basketball is always good for  your eyes and ears.

On this edition of The Sneakers Worn for the 15 Best Kentucky Performances of All Time, we’ll turn back the clock and profile Kentucky’s brightest moments, all while watching the players wear sneaker brands like Converse, Nike and Jordan.

Eddie Maisonet is the Editor-In-Chief of The Sportsfan Journal, contributor to SLAM Online and Sneaker Report, and loves women who wear big hoop earrings. Follow him on Twitter to keep up with more of his shenanigans and tomfoolery.
