For months now, the hype behind the Under Armour UA SpeedForm running shoe has been ramping up. But now, the wait is finally over for the shoe that could potentially change the way running footwear is designed for good.

To create the UA SpeedForm, Under Armour drew inspiration from spacesuits and paired it with the material innovation of a bra to create a seamless heel cup—which according to UA, is the “holy grail of fit.”

Now fellas, we’re aware that the word “bra” may have thrown you off-kilter just a bit, and understandably so (it had a similar effect on us). But not to worry, the SpeedForm DOES NOT resemble a female undergarment in any way, aside from the fact that it’s supposed to conform to your foot for a natural feel. Ok, enough of that.

As far as performance goes, the SpeedForm Micro G cushioning in the heel for energy return and impact resistance. It also features a molded 4D Foam footbed, to go with a seamless upper that is contoured in the shape of the human foot. For traction, the SpeedForm comes with an UA Light Speed Grip outsole that is designed for the road, but can handle mild off-road terrain as well. The shoe weighs in at just 6 ounces, making it one of the lightest in its category.

The SpeedForm is available now in a unisex style. Check the size chart at UA to ensure a proper fit.
