The VR_S Covert may be Nike Golf’s flagship driver, but Tiger Woods has been hesitant to make the switch from his trusty VR Tour model—that is, until now. A day after the No. 1 golfer in the world re-upped on his endorsement deal with the Swoosh, Nike Golf shared on Twitter an image of Woods’ bag, which believe it or not, featured a prototype of the VR_S Covert driver inside.

The VR_S Covert is the first-ever high-speed cavity back driver that’s within USGA regulations. It’s designed with more weight at the heel and the toe for increased distance and control (as if Tiger needed it). Either way, check out the on-going 2013 Open Championship and perhaps you’ll catch a glimpse of Woods teeing off with his flashy new club.
