Tim Tebow finally got his chance last night. As the New England Patriots continue to cut down the team before the season starts, Tebow got was given 30 minutes to win a third string job. His first snap was a little shaky, as he was downed for 6 yards, but he was able to pick it up and finished 6-of-11 for 91 yards and two touchdowns. He was also sacked four times and threw an interception.
The New York Giants were solid in defeat. As they prepare for their season opener against the Broncos, the Giants have much to improve after suffering three loses in the preseason. One bright spark has been receiver Hakeem Nicks.
Against the Patriots, Nicks wore the Air Jordan IX cleat. The cleat blends the basketball style and football performance. Jordan Brand takes the technology that you know in the sneaker—the inner bootie and a one-pull lacing system—and brings it to life on the gridiron.
