What, you thought that the Kanye Shrug started it all? Nope. On June 3, 1992, the Chicago Bulls matched up against the Portland Trailblazers in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Playing at home, Chicago absolutely dominated with a final score of 122-89. Scottie Pippen had a great game for the Bulls with 24 points, 10 assists, and 9 rebounds, but it was Michael Jordan who truly led the way.
MJ had a game-high 39 points and dished 11 assists, but the statistics weren't the only unforgettable thing about Jordan's game that night. In the first half of play, Jordan effortlessly knocked down six three pointers, which is an NBA Finals record for most threes in a half. After nailing the sixth shot, Jordan turned to the cameras and simply shrugged, which embodied the charisma and persona of the man himself in one small gesture. Check out the clip here.
