NBA Hall of Famer Earvin "Magic" Johnson is one of the most prolific players of all time. The five-time NBA Champion and three-time MVP played for the Lakers from '79-91, and then had a brief comeback in 1996. By returning to join LA in the '95-96 NBA season, Johnson was able to add yet another milestone to his career. On March 7, 1996, the Lakers made a trip across state to face the Sacramento Kings. Magic came off the bench and dished seven assists, which put him over the 10,000 mark for career assists. His total of 10,141 currently stands as the fifth best of all time.

Magic is famous for endorsing the Converse Weapon in his heyday, but chose something different during this period. For his short return, Magic wore a signature model from lesser-known brand MVP. The MVP Point Forward High boasted a full-grain leather upper along with a full-length Phylon midsole and a supportive heel plate. The rare model has been discontinued, but originally sold for $65.
