Are you ready for All-Star Weekend? Yesterday, the highlighted performance sneaker moment was Mitch Richmond's MVP win in the 1995 NBA All-Star Game while wearing the Nike Air Flight One. Today, Sneaker Report flashes back to the game in Minneapolis a year prior on February 13, 1994. Fresh off of Jordan's retirement, this would be the first game of the '90s which did not feature his Airness. However, the Most Valuable Player trophy would stay in Chicago, as Bulls forward Scottie Pippen led the game with 29 points and added another eleven rebounds.

Pippen would wear the Nike Air Maestro, a model released in 1993 which featured a Haurache-like interor for a snug fit as well as a lace support system. Staying true to his Chicago pride, Scottie chose the "China Red" colorway, clashing with his blue uniform.

The Maestro model was re-imagined last year as the Nike Air Maestro Flight, featuring a number of performance and aesthetic tweaks. Due to the vintage nature of the original '93 release, tracking down a pair of the Maestro Flights on eBay may be your safest bet if you're looking to wear this classic style on the courts.
