Spring training has kicked off around the MLB, and soon there will be professional baseball, and lots of it might we add. To get in gear for the upcoming season, Under Armour has already hit a home run with the brand new UA Spine baseball cleat.

Under Armour has been planning to incorporate its trademark Spine technology into other performance footwear aside from running for quite some time now. We’ve already seen the basketball edition of the Spine, and now it looks like baseball is up next.

The low-top Spine baseball cleat weighs in at less than 12 ounces, making it even lighter than some running shoes out there. The shoe’s flexible Spine outsole is paired with UA Fang metal spikes designed to tear through the field with ease.

You’ll notice the Spine cleat has a Micro G midsole that delivers a responsive feel without hindering mobility. A 4-D Foam footbed provides additional comfort as you round the bases towards home.
