Since introducing the CompFit ankle support technology to the UA Cam Highlight Trainer, Under Armour has begun incorporating it across other sports as well.

The UA FTHR Shield TRC Strom running shoe joins the likes of the Spine Highlight ST baseball cleat, and the upcoming Cam Highlight football cleat, as recent Under Armour performance shoes that have adopted the unique high-top construction.

As UA puts it: “This is the future of trail running.” The shoe is designed to give you maximum comfort on the trail without limiting movement and overall function. Along with the form-fitting ComFit ankle sleeve, the some comes with a slimmed down Micro G foam midsole that allows for greater stability.

The FTHR Shield rocks a mountain bike inspired tread patter that grips rocks, mud, and any other debris you might come across on your next run.
