Under Armour's been making some big waves on the diamond, and they don't appear to be slowing down anytime soon. On August 24, the top 36 high school baseball players in the country will gather on Wrigley Field in Chicago for the 2013 Under Armour All-America game. Paying respects to the storied history of Chicago Cubs baseball, UA has created a pair of vintage-styled uniforms for game day.

The Under Armour All America Baseball uniforms are modeled after the classic styles worn by the Cubs in the 1930s, each pulling inspiration from different periods. The American team's uniform is grey-based and features an iconic red underline below the team's name, which is reminiscent of the jerseys worn by the Cubs in 1937. In 1948, artist Norman Rockwell immortalized the look in his painting "The Dugout."

Meanwhile, the National team will don a vintage white look with a braid around the placket, sleeve, and sleeve hem. This was a style worn by Chicago in 1938 and takes its font from the Cubs' uniform from 1926-1936.

Tech-wise, these uniforms are anything but vintage. They feature 4-way stretch fabric and mesh for high levels of ventilation and mobility. A UA grippy waistband ensures players jerseys will remain tucked, while a slide zone is added to the back panel for durability and protection. Check out the uniforms in action during the UA All-America Baseball game on August 24.
