Complex TV's Quickstrike show returns yet again with another featured guest, this time with Grammy Award-winning producer/rapper and Reebok Classic creative director Swizz Beatz. As you may (or may not) know, Swizzy is has been heading up the Reebok Classic brand and bringing back some of the freshest footwear that Reebok has ever created. Often reinvigorating older performance models, Swizz has been able to generate a lot of success and conversation concerning performance shoes that were worn by some of the finest athletes the world has ever seen, like tennis great Michael Chang, and basketball legends Shaquille O'Neal and Allen Iverson.
Today, Swizz and Quickstrike's hosts, DJ Clark Kent and Complex head man Russ Bengston the evolution of Swizz's career and his feelings about his role as Creative Director for the Classic division of Reebok. Also discussed is the new release of Nike's KD VI in the PB&J colorway, another release of the New Balance 998 that are described as "straight cash, homie" (that's a good thing, just like cash is), and Swizz's very own release of the Halloween edition of the Reebok Pump basketball shoe, which glows in the dark and is colored like a pumpkin.
