Vivobarefoot has a revamped collection of zero-drop running sneakers on the way as part of its Spring/Summer ’14, and at first glance, it looks quite impressive.
The specialty brand looks to be taking a more bold approach in terms of aesthetics with their latest runners—the Evo Pure and Trail Freak—but is still sticking to its guns when it comes to performance. In the running/training hybrid Evo Pure, Vivo has done away with all the unnecessary bulk to create one of the most lightweight and breathable models in its collection. The shoe features a unique laminated upper construction for “the purest barefoot experience possible.”
For the trail, Vivo introduces the appropriately named Trail Freak which features a 3M mesh and laminated structure for a comfortable and secure fit. The shoe features an aggressive high-grade rubber outsole for ground-hugging traction, along with bungee laces for easier access. Equally impressive is its eye-popping color palette and printed overlays.
