A week after getting thrashed by the Pittsburgh Steelers and their throwback uniforms, it looks like the Washington Redskins are taking a page right out of the Steelers’ playbook by unveiling their very own retro unis.

For their Sunday matchup against Carolina, Robert Griffin III and the rest of the Redskins will hit the field in a gold and crimson red outfit. At first glance, the uniforms, inspired by the Redskins’ 1937 kit, don’t look much different from the team’s current ones. However, looking closer, you’ll notice subtle changes in the   patchwork and numbering on the jersey, as well as a duller gold colorway for the pants. The best element of the new look has to be the helmet, which features a leather-inspired design indicative of the leather helmets worn in the early days of the NFL.

Check out the new digs above, and let us know what you think.
