Since the Toronto Raptors named Drake global ambassador last year, Drizzy's been repping his hometown more then ever. Sitting courtside for just about every game, Drizzy's brought the Raptors swag to a whole new level especially when he hooked up Amir Johnson and Lou Williams with custom "OVO" Jordan 3's. Drake hopes to recruit Kevin Durant to Toronto when he's a free agent in 2016, and maybe the latest KD 7 colorway hints at the potential.
Although the shoe will not officially carry the "Raptors" name when it drops, it's clear where the influence came from. Unfortunately, the shoes will only come in grade school sizes, but that can always change if the response is good. The "Raptors" KD 7 comes off the heels of the "Lightning 534" which debuted a few days back, but features a similar aesthetic with the purple and pink scheme.
Rumor has it the KD 7 GS "Raptors" is scheduled to drop December 1 at the Nike Store for a suggested retail price of $115.
