Mizuno elevates their street cred with these performance-level runners.

The running brand known for their international appeal has met the requirements of runners look for race-ready kicks with ample support. The Wave Elixir 7s answer the call, with enough build to keep runners from over-pronating but not an excessive amount that would slow down runners. With a combination G3 / blown rubber forefront providing some flexibility and extra cushioning built of a last with a spacious toebed, this loud one is ready to run.

Reviewers loved the tiger-stripe approach Mizuno went with on this one. It's easy to find performance kicks with that extra bit of flair overseas, but here in America it's tougher to find prints and patterns on shoes that one would actually run / ball / train in. So props to Mizuno for giving us a chance with these, scoop them up so brands will catch on to the fact that the USA can dig prints too. After the initial glee with the look of the shoe, the runner pleased from performance perspective as well, with a proper fit ensuring comfort and a good build that makes a solid attempt at comfort and speed. If purchasing, (do it!) know that these are spot-on true to size.

Bottom Line: Buy for the look, keep for the run.
